Partnership With NASA Johnson Space Center

What We Did for NASA

We are very proud and excited to be a part of NASA's future endeavors. As NASA plans its future in space and a return trip to the moon new hardware must be developed and tested. As seen in the video clip below, some of these new concepts are remarkable. We had the honor of working with them on the manufacturing of the console that would be used to remotely pilot the equipment seen in the video.

In my capacity as a welding and materials engineer supporting JSC, I have known Mr. Weible to have been fully certified to the applicable Tech Orders and NASA specifications that govern the weld fabrication and weld repair of components, on a wide variety of aircraft at Ellington, including critical hot section (engine) components. He also has been certified to a variety of key industry codes, one being ASME Section IX. His many certifications have included carbon and corrosion resistant steels, nickel based alloys, titanium alloys and aluminum alloys.

I have worked with and thus have witnessed first-hand, the application of Mr. Weible's hands-on welding and fabricating skills. It is my opinion that they are among the best in the industry. He obviously takes great pride in his work, there's no doubt about that. In addition, he can be commended for his reliability, versatility, willingness and ability to work under difficult circumstances, and his overall personality, as it is obvious that he is well liked by his peers. It is my belief Mr. Weible will excel in whatever welding related endeavor he undertakes.
